Josh and I were talking yesterday and I mentioned how I couldn’t believe I am already six weeks along! He then said, “Next thing you know, you’ll be six months!” I know he’s right. I know this pregnancy is going to fly by with anticipation and preparation. I am trying to pause everyday and remember the exact moment I’m living. I don’t ever want to forget. Here is my weekly progress:
• Craving orange juice and dairy like mad! I can’t get enough so I’m guessing the babe is needing folate and calcium right now.
• For the first time this pregnancy I started experiencing some major waves of nausea. Josh was sweet enough to head out to the store and buy some staples for nausea… no questions asked. Saltines, ginger ale, graham crackers, soup, and apples. I’m hoping this isn’t the start of morning sickness! My mom never experienced morning sickness with any of us three kids and I was hoping it was hereditary!
Josh’s cousin, Breanna, knows that we wanted to start trying in the fall. So, for my birthday she sent me a pregnancy book! How perfectly ironic, right? 🙂 She, like everyone else in our family, still doesn’t know I actually am pregnant and I can’t wait to tell her.
I also have a pile of books I found at the thrift store and just ordered a few more from Amazon. I will definitely have a lot of reading material to get me through the next nine months and beyond!
